Additional spots on The Hub Today and New England Living have allowed her to share her love of family, history, entertaining, cooking, antiquing, and travel with audiences that appreciate a well-designed lifestyle.
New England Living TV Series 4 on CBS
Referred to by some as “America’s Antique Capital,” Essex, Massachusetts is a playground for antique collectors, dealers, and decorators, with dozens of shops located within just a mile of each other. But knowing where to look and what to look for can be overwhelming. In this episode, Kathy joined Rachel Holt to teach her the time-honored art of antiquing, offering up some valuable tips and advice for finding the perfect piece.

New England Living TV Series 3 on CBS
New England living featured Kathy's family lakeside summer home called “The Ledges” located in New Hampshire's Mount Monadnock region. This home is filled with vintage treasures, five generations’ worth of memories, and represents quintessential New England living. Anna also tours the lake on the family’s vintage wooden boat and visits some of Kathy's favorite haunts, including a classic general store and one of the country’s oldest inns.
This Old House TV Season 36 - Charlestown House
After ten years with the show, and on her fifth project for This Old House TV, Kathy expanded beyond kitchen and baths to design all the interiors for this 1850 Greek Revival row house in Boston's historic Charlestown neighborhood.
This Old House TV Season 34 - Cambridge House
On her fourth project for TV’s This Old House, Kathy used clean lines and natural wood tones to create a fresh, minimalist kitchen (and several baths) inspired by her client’s Swedish roots.
This Old House TV Season 33 - Bedford House
In Bedford, This Old House took on the renovation of one of its oldest houses to date—a 1720 Georgian home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Kathy was tasked with designing a kitchen and pantry that would serve as the heart of this antique home.
This Old House TV Season 28 - East Boston House
In the Fall of 2006, Kathy Marshall Design returned to the show to design a two-family project including two baths and two kitchens - a modern cherry kitchen on the first floor, and a Nantucket-style open concept kitchen on the second floor with pantry. The East Boston project started in the Spring of 2006 and wrapped up in December 2006.
This Old House TV 25th Anniversary Showhouse - Carlisle, MA
Kathy Marshall Design was selected to design the kitchen, home office, laundry room, and pantry in this spectacular connected farmstead that was also open to the public for a limited time as a designer showhouse. The project started in Nov 2004 and completed in April of 2005, and also featured the work of designers like Charles Spada, Frank Roop, and Alexa Hampton.
